We are InSearch of a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Manager with a strong background in hands-on software engineering. Expertise in clearing, business, financial and capital markets is a must. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving technical excellence and delivering high quality software solutions. This position is a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, managing software engineering teams
- Ability to work remote with occasional travel

- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience on a Java and Spring Boot platform with React, Parcel, Redux or similar technologies on the front-end side
- Project Management experience delivering complex enterprise software projects on time and within budget in an Agile environment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ORM frameworks, and PostgreSQL databases
- Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks and PostgreSQL databases experience
- Strong understanding of clearing, business, and capital markets
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of financial messaging protocols (FIX) is extremely helpful
- Familiar with basic database design, SQL and PostGres SQL as well as a familiarity with Ruby and Mongo DB
